In 2006, our Associate Pastor had a vision: the church would equip people for life based on God’s Word. A vintage idea, right? A team that is passionate about this vision has united. They are ready to teach Christians of all maturity levels rich truths about God and equip them to defend and share their faith in the public square. 
Life University’s vision is to partner with you in reproducing disciples. No matter what phase of your maturity you are in we invite you to embark on a journey through our University. When you complete the last phase, our hope is that your foundation in Christ is secure, your life is continually being built on and around Christ himself, and that you are reproducing disciples by pouring yourself into others.
Where should I start?
Each course has a number. To ensure our common beliefs are understood, we offer our “100” new member level course, “Welcome to Kings!” After joining (or if you are not a member at Kings but you would still like to take a course) please sign up at the “200” level. The three courses we offer at this level will reinforce your foundation in Christ by teaching you the essentials of the Christian life. Our “300” level courses are more specialized and advanced, and are recommended for those who have already completed the first two phases. Be sure to ask us about the “400” level and how you can be involved in a mentoring relationship!
How can I get involved?
Classes are open to everyone! Life University begins at 6:30 PM on Wednesday nights. Over the course of a year a selection of up to twelve classes are offered for ten to twelve weeks. Check out our current offerings online.
How Much?
For some classes there is no cost. However, many classes use a workbook and others offer the opportunity to purchase the book on which the class is based. Sometimes these materials are necessary. Check each course catalog for these details!
How does it work?
At Life U we encourage you to progress in faith through four measurable phases.
1. Lay the Foundation in Phase One with our new believer/member class.
2. Reinforce the Foundation in Phase Two by learning spiritual disciplines, basic Christian beliefs, and basic principles of counseling.
3. Build on the Foundation in Phase Three with specialized electives that help you live out a biblical worldview.
4. Multiply the Foundation in Phase Four by mentoring two others in their faith.
Where will I end up?
By the time you have graduated from Life University you will have taken our 100 level course, all three 200 level courses, three 300 level courses, and you will have mentored two disciples for six months. Every year we honor our graduates in our worship service with a diploma and special gift from Life University, as well as a graduation celebration banquet in their honor!
